Palatine Museum

The Museo Palatino, established in the 19th century, is located in the heart of ancient Rome on the Palatine Hill. Its remains underscore Nero's penchant for grandeur, foreshadowing the even more opulent Domus Aurea that would follow after the Domus Transitoria's destruction in the Great Fire of AD 64.
